Here is my draft movie post! I found this assignment to be the most time consuming assignment I have completed. I guess I never really knew all the time that is put into making a “movie.” But I decided to base mine off of my sorority, Kappa Delta. This chapter means a lot to me, its my home away from home and my identity here at WSU. I want to give my viewers a look inside my crazy-beautiful life at the mansion with my equally crazy-beautiful sisters. I want to show people what it is really like to live in a house with 60 girls and what the chapter means to me and my fellow sisters. First, I filmed the clips for the video using my Iphone. The quality is not the best, but it gets the job done. For my final draft I am going to add more video clips that I have taken off my cannon camera so the quality of the video will increase. In addition, I want to fix the audio in my movie. My interview at the end will not play with audio so that is a major problem I need to correct. Also, I want to go in and include voice over in my movie so that my audience can better connect with the clips. Furthermore, I want to add more effects to my editing like transitions and pictures. I think that will better enhance the quality again. I realize that this movie is a work in progress but I think that when I piece together my vision and it all comes together, I think I will have something pretty amazing. The more I use the editing program the more I am comfortable with it, so another week using the program will be extremely helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video. You have a really good start to your project! After reading your blog post I agree with most of what you already said. I definitely think that when you add a voice over, it will really tie in your video. For the most part I understood what you were filming but it wasn’t until I read the blog post that I really understood where your vision was going. That last interview clip will definitely need to be fixed which you already mentioned you would do. I would suggest maybe breaking up that interview clip into different clips that way you can include them throughout the video and it will help to break it up a little bit better. For your final project you might want to put in some transitions that way the video goes smoothly from clip to clip. Overall, I think you have a good vision of where you want to take your project! Good start!

Breanna, I think you have a good start to your video. One thing I would I would suggest is to let the audio of the girl speaking in the final video be heard. It is just a video of her talking and it is just music playing, I think it would be less awkward if you can actually hear her! Or maybe use a different video sequence. Another thing I would suggest is to do something more in the end, your video ends pretty abruptly, it would round it out nicely if there was something else there. I really like your music choice! It was upbeat but not too overwhelming. I also really like the video of your house, it gives good visual and is fun to watch. Nice work!

I think that the feedback I received was very helpful! Everyone overall agreed with what I submitted in my blog post. If I was to make those changes I think that my post would be much stronger. The biggest obstacle in my way currently is fixing my audio and adding more footage to my video! I am excited to fix my video and make it the best it can be!!

you have a really good start to the video. one thing i think you could improve is when you are walking up the stairs, you could shrink the video clip to speed it up (like we learned in the tutorials) which would add a cool effect and also make less important footage less lengthy. Also, when the girl is talking at the end, you could lower the volume of the music and make it so we could hear her. one last suggestion, it seemed like the movie stopped abruptly. maybe you could talk at the end about why kappa delta is important to you, and add a cool closing transition or something. your topic is good and i like how you showed us around KD and some of the important things that relate to KD. (just fyi don’t forget to approve your comments)
